Personality Test

In class today we took a
personality quiz. The animal that  my personality relates to the most to is a Golden Retriever. I am a very loyal person I always stand up for my friends and care very deeply about them. I usually look for security. I also have very few friends but we are very close, i am also very carrying, I do not like seeing animals or people i care very much about suffering, i don't like seeing anything or anyone in pain. I am a very sensitive person, i want everyone to like me, have a very steady work pattern, I always turn in my work on time and make sure its my very best work. I usually don't hold people accountable to what they did and are not very hard on them. All the things that i just described relate to a golden retriever. Most of my weaknesses are also much like a golden retriever, some examples are i am indecisive, indifferent, I always want to be like everyone else its very hard for me to express myself, i am also to soft on people. I think the animal i got was very much like me and fits my personality perfectly.

6 Shot System

This week in video we used the six shot system, this is used in many films and photos. It shows many different emotions and actions. Here are all the different pictures I took and what they are called and show. One tip if you try this, stay on one side of the person. Act like you split the person in half you just want to stick to one side, if you switch sides for each shot then it makes it more uncomfortable for the people to look at. Also  these steps do not have to happen in specific order you could do a close up shot then an extra wide.

The first shot is called close up of the hands, it shows the action of what the person is doing.

The second shot is called  the over the shoulder shot, this one shows the point of view and to see what they are doing.

The third shot is called close up of the face, this shot shows the emotion of what the person is feeling.

The fourth shot is called a medium shot, it is very neutral and ties all the other shots together, its all the previous shots in one.

The fifth shot is a wide shot, this shot ties together the whole subject and it needs to be the person  head to toe.

The sixth and final shot is called extra wide shot, this shot shows the setting, you can see where the person is and whats going on in their environment.

Think Before You Post

This week in e-comm we read an article called "They loved your GPA, then they saw your Tweets".  This article talked about how most teenagers don't think about how their social media posts can effect what colleges think about you. Most colleges have a certain person that goes through the social medias of their candidates, if they see something inappropriate or that doesn't meet that colleges expectations they wont except them. This article also talks about how many students didn't know about this until someone told them. I will defiantly be more careful hearing the stories of college students and how they didn't get into the college they wanted to because of a few mistakes. I now know what colleges look for and will keep this in my mind every time I post something on any type of social media.

3D House Animation

This week in animation we used google sketchup to created a 3D house! This was by far the hardest thing we have done yet in animation. This animation took us about a week and a half.  Suprissingly this was also one of my favorite things to do because you can customize it to anything you want. I loved being able to add different twists to my house that no one else had! Sadly this is my  last animation next week i will be joining video!
