Chase Scene

This week in video we made a chase scene. This was very challenging, and took a long time to make. We used the six shoot system and 180 degree rule in this video. While editing this you had to use a method called come late leave early, this meant you had to cut the video to when the person did the action and cut it to when the person was done with their action. You had to get very creative with getting many shots from different angles and in different places. In this video you had to change video clips very frequently, this gives it the effect of being fast pace. You also had to make it so the scenes changed on the beat of this music, this was yet again a very difficult task. I did mess up in my editing in a few places. One was when i was running out the door, if you noticed i opened the door  twice. If i could do this again i would change minor things in video. I hope you enjoy my video!

Printing Project

This week in video we applied this six shot system and used it in a video. This is very different than anything I've ever done. It was very fun being able to put everything we learned the past few weeks and apply it to this video. This is much different then just taking pictures, if someone is walking you have to make sure you don't cut of any part of their body which is actually very challenging. You also have to take multiple shots of the same thing to get your desirable outcome. I'm looking forward to the many more videos we will make in the future.
