1 and 2000

Over the past few week I've been working on a project called 1 and 2000. For this project we had to interview a varsity soccer player named Zayn Kalopek. As a sophomore Zayn plays on the varsity soccer team.
For the interview we had to make 21 questions to ask the interviewee. The first few questions were about if they had a job, where do they live, just basic get to know you questions. The second set of questions are the five W's, who, what, where, when, and why. After we ask those questions we ask more serious questions like What does it take to make Varsity soccer?. The lasts three questions are what are your greatest hope (about the topic)?, whats your greatest fear (about the topic)?. The last question you ask is "Is there anything you'd like to add?"
The next step for this process is actually interviewing the person. For the interview spot you want to choose somewhere quiet. You also want the spot to have something to do with the topic for example my topic was on soccer so you want to be somewhere like a soccer field to show more detail of what the story is.
After we gathered the footage then we had to make the voice over script. To be able to make this there are a few rules you have to follow. The first is for the introduction sentences you want to introduce your topic. The sencond is to never say that the interviewee said. Now when your recording the voice over you want to be in a quiet place and you don't want to talk to fast or to slow.
The next step you do after you have recorded your voice over is to put all of your footage in  editing software. Once you get it in there you have to listen to all your footage. After I listened to my footage I then edited and added my sound bites. For some off my shots I had to edit my audio levels. One of the final steps was to go onto YouTube and find background noise or sound effects.
Overall I had a lot of fun making this audio video and learned a lot in the making. I can't wait to learn more things and explore the world of video!
